Sorry it's been a few weeks, but we're back! We're long-time fans of Unwritten Law, so we were absolutely thrilled to have the legend that is Scott Russo on this time! Unwritten Law have just released their new studio album 'The Hum'. We were excited to discuss the new music with Scott and we covered many things without his long, colourful career. We honestly could have talked to him all day.

Episode 80 is here and we are joined by Jack and Sid from the UK punk band Grade 2. The boys have just come back from LA from recording their second full length with the legendary Tim Armstrong. We were keen to hear about their history as a band and them coming up on the Isle of Wight scene.
When we spoke to them, they were about to head out on a European tour with Social Distortion and our good friends LOVEBREAKERS.

We had the pleasure of being joined by Charlotte Sands. Charlotte Sands has had a massive 2021 and 2022. She has been on tour with huge stars like Yungblud and The Maine, released a single with The Maine and Taking Back Sunday, and a put out a well-received EP.
We spoke to her shortly before her trip to the UK for a headline show in Camden and a huge gig supporting My Chemical Romance.

We are joined by Kieran Kelly, one of the founders of Manchester Punk Festival. MPF has become a staple in the UK scene and is very much our version of Fest! Kieran talks us through how the festival came about and logistics of running it. MPF 2022 is the return of the festival after having to take a break during the pandemic, so we discuss this difficult time. Kieran is also in the band Throwing Stuff and runs promotions company Moving North, so there was plenty to cover!

Derek stopped by for an incredibly insightful and candid chat about his life as a musician for the past 15 years. He is a very humble and interesting guy, and we were really grateful for his time.

We are joined this time by Nick Thompson, lead singer of pop punk band Hit The Lights. Nick has been busy recently releasing new music for his solo venture Thief Club. We discuss his long career in Hit The Lights and how Thief Club came about. Nick tells us his stories of touring the world and in particular, the UK.
When not working on Thief Club, Nick spends his time working with other artists as well as hosting the odd kayak tour. Nick also shares some news regarding the future of Hit The Lights too!
